Artist note
Beneath the Surface was created around the idea that so much of what shapes us is not immediately visible.
Built through layered texture and overlapping geometric forms, the piece reflects the thoughts, emotions, and experiences we carry quietly. Its soft neutral palette creates a calm presence, while the raised surface adds depth that changes throughout the day as light moves across the canvas.
This is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork created entirely by hand.
