Artist note
Once Upon a Wish I was created around the kind of home I once imagined for myself—calm, monochrome, and quietly expressive.
The repeated black forms are each finished with a different texture, creating subtle variation within a structured composition. From a distance, the piece feels clean and balanced; up close, each square reveals its own character.
For me, it reflects the idea that a dream can stay with you, evolve with you, and eventually take shape in ways you did not expect.
This is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork created entirely by hand.
